Communicate, Collaborate, Cooperate: Building a Classroom Environment

Course Description:  This course will focus on how to build a true community in your classroom from day one.  Educators will discuss proper communication skills, collaboration techniques and cooperative learning strategies. This course will examine how we communicate (both verbal and non-verbal) to build a happy classroom.  Educators will share how cooperative learning done strategically on daily basis, creates an environment of trust.  Teachers will discuss how collaboration activities and techniques lead to successful classroom atmospheres.  All of these factors put together help to build a strong classroom environment.  This course is a must for all educators levels K-12.


Managing Your Moods – Understanding how your everyday moods affect your teaching

Course Description: Exploring one’s everyday moods and investigating the ways in which our daily cycles affect every aspect of our teaching is tantamount forour students’ success. Our biological bases of our moods can impact a slew of things in our lives and cause us to have ups and downs. This course will enhance all K-12 instructors as they will learn to manage any vulnerabilities that arise during the day. Participants will be able to understand their own moods, think more clearly, be more productive, and engage their students fully with an in-depth logical reasoning. Energy levels will be discussed as well as natural body rhythms and optimum mood regulation. A dynamic work environment will be had by all.

Teacher-Parent Communication: Let’s Start the Year off Right

Do you ever want a guide to starting the year off right with parents?  This course will focus on how to build relationships with your students parents from the very beginning of the school year.  Educators will discuss how to properly communication with parents and form a meaningful bond. This course will examine ways to touch base and stay in constant communication with your students’ parents.  Educators will share what parent-teacher communication skills work and what skills have often failed.  Teachers will discuss how these successful relationships leads to success and productivity in your classroom.  This course is a must for all educators levels K-12.

Language and Literacy”- Balancing Strategies for Everyday Learners

Course Description: This course analyzes the everyday domains of language and literacy. Understanding how language and literacy are intertwined and developing the skills necessary for students is crucial for everyday communication. Providing this connection for our learners in all disciplines enhances their success and guides them in their achievement. Participants will be provided with a medley of activities and strategies that strengthen students’ cognitive learning including read-alouds, vocabulary acquisition, word games, and manipulatives.  A Must for K-12 educators!!!!

This course will examine effective and strategic teaching methods to work utilizing the Next Generation Standards.  Educators will learn strategic methods towards being the Master Teacher you’ve always wanted to be.  Teachers will examine best practices for instruction to hone your skills on highly effective teaching.  You will see how to transform yourself from being a good teacher to being a great one using educational strategies and standards that work.  Educators will study methods on how to create high performing classrooms and building better instruction skills.  This course is a must for teachers of grades K-12.

Did you ever wonder what Apps to use to get your students motivated? Or maybe you wondered what websites would be the best for their research? This course will focus on sharing these apps and websites for teaching and games. This course will examine the features of certain apps and why they might be used over another. We will also discuss what websites might work best for the age level or grade you teach. Teachers will discuss apps with learning activities, games, reading and research components. Educators will work together to share websites they have used that have worked well and ones that have not. So, next time you need a little educational direction, use apps and websites! This course is a must for all educators levels K-12.

Course Description: Grades have positive and negative ramifications. Grades have tremendous impact on students’ futures and have been associated with higher levels of stress, anxiety, and cheating as well as increased student learning and drive. This course investigates students’ levels of motivation in terms of grades being offered, the profound effect of separating non academics from letter grades, and the equity of providing students multiple opportunities for success. Participants will modify and develop their own grading techniques in order to enrich their classrooms. **A must for K-12 educators** 

Promoting Self-Esteem in your Students

This course will discuss how self-esteem can plague so many of our students, and how we, as educators, can help.  We can not only identify the problem, but also address it.  Educators will discuss the causes of low self-esteem especially after the pandemic and address the specific risk factors.  Teachers will share techniques to build the self-esteem of the students that need it the most.  This course is a must for all educators K-12.

Strategies for Squashing School Violence

Course Description: This course will provide an investigative stance on the topic of school violence and the ways in which educators, counselors, nurses, psychologists, and administrators can guide students to prevention. Educators will uncover the ways in which students can contribute to a healthy school environment free of bullying, student conflict, and dissention. Participants will evaluate their own classroom safety procedures, their abilities to intervene when necessary, and learn how they can play an active role in mitigating violence before it occurs. ** A must for K-12 educators**  

Creating Meaningful Student Experiences

Course Description:

This course is designed to arm educators of all subject areas and levels to bring meaning to your classroom.  Meaningful hands-on lessons will be discussed.  Interactive conversation topics, brain games, puzzles and comics will also be shared.  These types of activities will get the discussions started and your students’ minds working overtime.  So, create meaning for your students every day by creating experiences for them.

This course is a must for educators grades K-12.
