Course Description:

This course will examine the role that homework plays within school culture.  Over the years, homework has played a vital role in shaping academics and has been relied upon by many teachers to support classroom activities.  More recently however, the effectiveness of homework has been questioned and different studies show that it may be doing more harm than good. Educators will explore what different research and educators’ tell us about homework and its impact on the learning process of students.  This course is a must for all educators levels K-12.
