Christina Palmenteri
Hello and thank you for your interest in my course! My name is Christina, and I’ve been fortunate to teach Physical and Health Education since 2017. I currently teach at Woodland Middle School in the East Meadow School District, where I work with grades 6-8 in Physical Education and Health. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in various school districts, including NYCDOE District 75, which has enriched my perspective on education and deepened my commitment to helping students live healthy, active lives.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health Education from Adelphi University, and I later pursued a Master’s degree in Adapted Physical Education from Adelphi, which further enhance my skills and ability to support students with diverse learning needs. I’m continually seeking professional development opportunities to grow as an educator, and I’m excited to share my knowledge and passion for health, fitness, and coaching with all my students.
Outside of the classroom, I’m an avid coach in Soccer, Track and Field, and Softball, having worked with athletes at all levels—from middle school to varsity teams. I’m certified in CPR, First Aid, Narcan and Heads Up Concussion Training.
I believe in creating a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages students to take ownership of their health and wellness. Whether we’re in the gym, on the field, or in the classroom, I aim to inspire students to stay active, challenge themselves, and live their best, healthiest lives. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you!
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more about the courses I offer. Let’s work together to make health and fitness fun!
