Lauren Scotti

Thank you for your interest in taking my course! I am an ENL/ELA teacher in the Brentwood School District and I am also certified in Spanish. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of teaching English as a New Language to a predominantly Spanish-speaking student population. Throughout my career, I have taught all levels of English language learners and co-taught in Special Education settings—but my greatest passion lies in working with newcomers. My knowledge of Spanish has helped me connect with these students and their parents tremendously and now I would like to empower educators to use Spanish in their classroom!
