Class Description:
Meeting the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students can feel overwhelming-but it doesn’t have to. This course equips educators with the tools to implement a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) effectively in their classrooms. Participants will learn how to:
- Use universal screening measures and data-driven decision-making to identify students at risk for poor academic outcomes.
- Apply academic supports such as Universal Design for Learning, culturally responsive teaching, differentiated instruction, and growth mindset strategies.
- Implement social-emotional learning strategies to foster resilience, improve school climate, and support mental health.
By the end of this course, educators will feel confident in embedding MTSS practices into their teaching, ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive. This course is a must for educators grades K-12.
