Class Description:

This course discusses how to nurture student individuality to inspire confidence. Nurturing student individuality requires cultivating a safe, inclusive classroom on the part of the teacher that honors diverse backgrounds and learning styles. Educators will discuss that by fostering strong relationships, applying inclusive strategies such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL), providing assessment choices, and cultivating collaborative, respectful environments, they can empower students to feel valued, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential.  This course is a must for all educators grades K-12.
