Valerie Gompers

Hi!  My name is Valerie Gompers and I am eager to share my courses with you.  I originally went to school for Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management.  Working in Manhattan was a struggle for me and I didn’t enjoy the rat race of the city. I went back to school and obtained my Masters in Family and Consumer Sciences Education.  I have been working in education for over 15 years with students in grades 6-12.  I absolutely love coming to work everyday and building relationships with these kids.  I am the founding advisor of Morgan’s Message, a mental health organization for athletes.  I am also married with 3 children of my own, ages 5, 9, and 10.  I look forward to welcoming you into my classes.  See you soon!
