An Overview of Language Development for the Classroom Teacher

What is typical language development? What is atypical? What is language? In this course you will learn the components of language. Theories of language acquisition will be discussed. Language development will be reviewed across the age ranges of toddlers, preschool and school age children. The relationship between language and academics will be addressed. The difference between delays, difference and disorder will be explained as well as red flags for teachers. This course is a must for all educators!
