Executive Functioning Skills Deficits and How to Help our Students Overcome their Weaknesses in this Area

As we all know, some of the brightest minds can have an executive functioning disability. We will explore the various ways that this appears in students and how to help them learn how to compensate and work through their difficulties in order to be college and career ready. Teachers will explore the components of Executive Functions as well as the impairments that are associated with it. Teachers will learn how to assess, improve, and treat this disorder through a multitude of strategies and goals. Suitable for all Educators K – 12.

ON-LINE (3credits/45hours) In-service credit only
