Acing Student Organization and Tools for Success

Course Description: This course equips teachers with practical, research-based strategies to help students develop strong organizational habits and essential skills for school success. Through ten focused modules, educators learn how to support executive function, teach effective systems for managing materials, introduce digital organization tools, and guide students in planning, time management, and goal setting. Each assignment includes ready-to-use classroom resources, web tools, and hands-on activities that build teacher confidence in coaching students toward greater independence and academic responsibility.

In addition to skill-building, the course emphasizes the importance of structured support, consistent feedback, and meaningful partnerships with families. Teachers will design routines, check-in systems, study strategy lessons, and take-home resources that empower students both in and out of the classroom. By the end of the course, educators will have a comprehensive toolkit for creating a classroom environment where students learn to organize themselves, manage their workload, and take ownership of their learning.
