Keri Cestaro

Hi, I’m Keri Cestaro, and I’m glad you’re here!
I’ve been teaching in Commack, NY for 27 years, working in both 3rd and 5th grade classrooms with a wide range of learners. Even after all this time, I still get excited about the first day of school, fresh supplies, and the energy that comes with a new class of eager students.
Over the years, I’ve been a classroom teacher, curriculum writer, and in-service course leader — but at the heart of it all, I’m someone who truly loves helping students grow both academically and emotionally. Whether I’m leading the Friendship Club or crafting hands-on lessons, I’m always looking for ways to make kids feel seen, valued, and excited to learn.
In my courses, I hope to spark new ideas and give you practical tools you can use right away. Most of all, I hope they remind you of why you love teaching — and help you spread that joy to your students.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me spending time with my three daughters — playing games, watching sports, or listening to music together. They keep me laughing, grounded, and always up to date on what’s trending!
