Course Description:

In this course, participants will explore effective, research‑based strategies for building strong classroom management systems grounded in meaningful relationships, predictable routines, and student accountability. Educators will learn how to create a supportive and structured learning environment where students understand expectations, take ownership of their choices, and contribute to a positive classroom culture.

This course will provide teachers with practical tools to establish clear routines, reinforce consistent procedures, and foster authentic connections with students that lead to increased engagement and improved behavior. By shifting from reactive management to proactive, relationship‑centered practices, educators will become effective facilitators who guide students toward responsible decision‑making and self‑regulation.

Participants will engage with a variety of resources including articles, case studies, classroom videos, interviews with practitioners, sample management plans, and behavior‑support frameworks. They will evaluate these tools and determine which strategies best fit their classroom needs and teaching style.

Throughout the course, educators will gain student‑centered approaches to behavior support, routines that enhance instructional time, differentiated strategies for managing diverse learner needs, and high‑impact methods to motivate students. In addition, teachers will explore current research on classroom culture, trauma‑informed practices, restorative conversations, and collaborative problem‑solving models that elevate student responsibility and strengthen classroom community.
