Chris Korolczuk
Dr. Korolczuk has an unwavering commitment and passion towards serving the most underserved populations through his work in education. This passion has been fueled by teaching within a juvenile detention facility in Los Angeles, at Riker’s Island jail in New York City, as well as being the principal of a high school on Long Island for the past 16 years. Throughout these endeavors he remains committed to developing a vibrant and supportive school culture based on collaboration, high expectations and student-centered leadership. April 16, 2024 has been hired as the Director, U.S. Department of Justice “Stop School Violence”
program at Fordham University, The Center for Community Partnerships in Manhattan.
Dr. Korolczuk’s doctoral research focused on examining the relationship between the mindset that individuals possess and their level of career burnout. In addition to earning his doctorate in educational leadership from St. John’s University, he proudly served as the president of a local union representing school administrators, teaches numerous adult education courses, and was recently honored for his commitment to public education on Long Island. Outside of work he is a devoted husband and a loving father of two high school students, and their dog Archie. The inner drive to seek out and tackle challenging situations is not only evident in his professional pursuits, but also in his hobbies as a triathlete, surfer, snowboarder, mountain biker and a competitive CrossFit athlete. He is committed to ensuring that any class he teaches is meaningful, practical, and will provide participants tools that they can instantly use to support their career.
